Overview

Family tour in Nepal starts with a scenic ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara, one of the most popular touristic cities in Nepal. Along the ride, you will cross manifold landscapes ranging from quaint villages to rice terraces. Pokhara is the place for natural tranquillity. As the best city for leisure and entertainment in Nepal, it offers a large variety of adventurous activities for tourists – boating, horse riding, paragliding etc. You can also retreat from the hustle and bustle life, sit back and have a sip of cocktail beside the calm Fewa lake with the Himalayan massif as the backdrop. Paragliding, rafting and bungee can be done upon request.

The other highlight of the trip is the stunning scene of sunrise. In the trip with family in Nepal, we will visit Sarangkot and Nagarkot, two of the most famous places for the sunrise over the Himalayan range. Feel the restfulness of nature as the sun gradually rise out from nowhere, painting the whole sky with different splendid colors with its gentle and warm sunshine.

Nepal Family tour package also includes the exploration of Kathmandu, also known as the “City of Temples”. It can be said as the cradle of civilization in Nepal. Used to be the capital of different ancient kingdoms, this place contains lots of important cultural and historical sites. Through visiting these spots one by one, you will have the chance to unfold years of history of Nepal as we venture around the city.

Best time for Family holiday in Nepal

This Nepal family trip is suitable to be commenced all year round, but we would also suggest you to avoid the monsoon season if you would like to obtain the best scenic view. Generally speaking, the ideal trekking season in Nepal would be Spring (March – June) and Autumn (September – December). For Spring, with winter has just come to an end, the sky clear and the mountain tips covered by snow, it is a good choice for photo lovers. There may be short showers, yet most days are warm and sunny. For Autumn, after the monsoon and before the cold sets in, this period is perfect if you are looking for the panoramic view of the mountains. The sky is cloudless with lush plants shimmering under the gentle sunshine. Although the snow is less than that of the Spring season, it is the best time for the crystal clear view. The temperature is perfect as well – not scorching hot during the day and durably cool at night.

This tour is suitable for parents who would like to spend quality time with their children, as well as to have a glimpse on the natural scenic beauty of Nepal.

Amazing Pokhara-Chitwan trip!

(5/5)

We had an amazing trip, starting with the coolest rafting experience in the Trishuli river to then continue to Pokhara, where we saw the sunrise with a beautiful view of the mountains and a very complete tour of the city. Personal tip: explore the night life as well in this vibrant city! We then went to Chitwan National Park, where we had the complete experience: boat ride, jungle walk, jeep safari, bike ride, elephant feeding and even watching the elephants bathe! We had the best time and I honestly think it would have been impossible to have such a complete and cost-efficient trip without this great company!

Breathtaking Pokhara

(5/5)

My group of five friends and I had the opportunity to book a tour of Pokhara with Adventure Vision Treks and Tours. We were new to the country and were not sure how to go about our trip, Mr. Jiban was a known friend in Nepal who introduced us to some amazing tours. From Kathmandu to Pokhara he arranged transportation, lodging and activities which included an amazing river rafting experience in the Trishuli River. Overall the trip was very well planned and we enjoyed every moment of it!

a wonderful trip

(5/5)

t is a 6-day trip to Pokhara and Chitwan. The first day was on the bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We did drafting on the way. It was quite interesting but just try to protect yourself from sun burned. We spent 2 days in Pokhara. It is a much cleaner city compared to Kathmandu. As we came in July which was the rain season, the lake was muddy and it was hard to see the snow mountain. Hence, I recommend come in winter. The forth day was also on the bus. The road between Pokhara and Chitwan was not satisfying_(:3 <)_Chitwan is a tropic city so the view there was so different. We went to the rainforest, saw the crocodile, watch a cultural dance and rode an elephant. The benefits for coming in off season was that we did not need to queue hahaha. Plus, the cook in the hotel cooks so GOOD!!! Last day we came back to Kathmandu.

ps The guide Sud is a SOOOO nice person.
