But if you wish to take permit without any issue we recommend to take permit by our company.

What is the best month to visit Mustang?

Best month to visit Mustang is June and September, which are the summer months. Visitors can enjoy the great landscape in relatively warmer weather during this time. This will also allow visitors to take tours and hikes in this area that would otherwise be impossible during the colder months. But if you wish to see snow fall then during the winter season is also advisable to visit.

What to pack for Upper Mustang Tour?

Since, it is Annapurna region you need to carry warm and cozy clothes to make yourself warm and comfortable. It is a cold place, So the warm clothes is required for this trek. Detailed Itinerary

Option 1: Tour in Lower Mustang

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

On your arrival our team member will be waiting for you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Our team member  will warmly welcome you and transfer you to a hotel in Kathmandu (in a private vehicle). You can relax  for a while after checking into the hotel. We will meet you at our office and introduce you to your guides. The meeting will be followed by a warm welcome meal at one of Kathmandu's best traditional Nepali restaurants. Along with the meal you will get to experience ethnic dancing and cultural music of Nepal. Rest overnight.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara

Early morning drive through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to reach the Pokhara. You can have the chance to experience the serenity of the less traveled places in Nepal, and to have a glimpse on the quaint villages along the way. Pokhara is a scenic and leisure hub where you can sit back and enjoy yourself beside the beautiful Fewa lake.  Enjoy your own time after the long ride and rest overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Jomsoom

Jomsoom is 157km away from Pokhara. It takes nearly 6 hours to reach Jomsoom. On the way to Jomsoom you can explore the greenery of Nepal. The route follows Kali Gandaki river The kali Gandaki river is also the one of the fastest flowing river of Nepal. You will get to witness the mind blowing views of different places like Ghasa, Lete, Kobang, Marpha and Jomsoom. On the way you will get to see the most beautiful Rupse waterfall. It is 300m height waterfalls and most popular place among tourists as it is on the way to Jomsoom.  

Day 04: Drive to Muktinath

Early in the morning we will drive to Muktinath temple. It is nearly 25km from Jomsoom. We can reach in 1 hour and after that you can hire a horse and can go to the temple or else you can walk the stairs and reach the temple. After reaching the temple you can go and worship Lord Vishnu. After worshipping don.t forget to take bath in 108 water spouts and 2 ponds. It is believed that taking bath in spouts and ponds it brings salvation. Enjoy the cultural and worshipping environment of devotes and vibe the nature. 

Day 05: Drive back to Pokhara

Pokhara is 157km away from Jomsoom. It takes nearly 6 hours but for us it will be 9/10 hours. On the way to Pokhara we will visit the monastery situated on the way. We will visit different caves located on the way which is there from nearly more than 1000 years ago. We will stop at Rupse waterfall. You can click pictures and have fun playing in the water. After that we will visit local Dhaba for having the local Nepali meal. We will sing, dance, play games and do fun activites and come back to Pokhara.  

Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we will head towards Kathmandu city. On the way we will see the local lifestyle, Marshyangdi river, Trishuli river, the local Dhaba(Highway restaurant), view of mountains along with green hill stations. Snatch the last moment to enjoy vibes of Kathmandu and grab the last chance to capture memorable moment in Nepal.  

Day 07: Departure

We will serve you breakfast in the morning. If your flight is planned for the morning. In accordance with your travel plans, our team member will go with you to drop you at the Airport(In a private vehicle). If your flight is in the evening, you may go for shopping and pick up some souvenirs for your loved ones, or you can just hang around the Kathmandu city. Additionally, if you wish to stay in Nepal for a few extra days, we can set up some of the best adventure activities or tour activities there.

Option 02: Tour in Upper Mustang

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Tatopani

Early in the morning, we will head towards Tatopani. It is nearly 300 km. On the way we will get to see the local lifestyle of the people. We will get to see the green lush forests and Awesome Mountain views on the way. You can see the hot springs in the north side of the village. On the way you can see the landslide areas in the hill and many more.

Day 03: Drive from Tatopani to Muktinath

Early in the morning we will drive to Muktinath temple. It is nearly 64km from Tatopani. We can reach in 1 hour and after that you can hire a horse and can go to the temple or else you can walk the stairs and reach the temple. After reaching the temple you can go and worship Lord Vishnu. Day 04: Drive from Kagbeni to Ghami

Early in the morning we will head towards Ghami. It is nearly 25.5 km in distance. In Ghami you will get to see ancient caves. you will also see a small river through which small naturally formed tunnel which flows with the Kali Gandaki. In the Ghami you will get to see more Tibet influence as it is near Tibet. We will visit to ancient meditation caves, Barely fields, traditional type of Houses, old Gompa which is also situated above the village.  

Day 05: Drive to Ghami to Chhusang

We'll leave early in the morning for Chhusang. It is nearly 27.5 kilometres long. Chhusang is a village development committee in the Mustang District of Nepal's Dhawalagiri Zone. It is about an hour's walk north of Tangbe on the Upper Mustang trekking route between Tangbe and Chele. It is located at the confluence of the Narshing and Kali Gandaki rivers. It is also a famous destination for tourist in Upper Mustang.

Day 06: Drive to Kalopani

Early  in the morning, we will head towards Kalopani. It is nearly 36.6km. Kalopani is situated near the Annapurna circuit. The sunset of Kalopani is awesome. The atmosphere in the Kalopani is quite. The villages in Kalopani is idyylic village. It used to be the Kingdom of ancient Kings who ruled in Nepal. After exploring the Kalopani we will come back to Jomsoom. Rest overnight in Jomsoom.

Day 07: Flight/Drive to Pokhara

It is 25 mins flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. But if you want drive  then Pokhara is 157km away from Jomsoom. It takes nearly 6 hours but for us it will be 9/10 hours. About Nepal Visa

Nepal visas can be easily obtained from the Government of Nepal, Nepalese Embassy or Consulate office located in your country. You can get a visa from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on your arrival or from any other entry point in Nepal. Make sure to bring a few sets of your passport size photos. Visa fees are inexpensive.

You can also apply for a visa in a near embassy or either you can travel to Nepal and get a visa on arrival. We will assist you to settle your visa work too.

Accommodation in Kathmandu and Tour

We offer you a star rated accommodation with comfort and cozy. You will be amused with the facility and warmth we offer you including facility like (attached bath, A/C, 24 hours running hot and cold shower). During the tour your accommodation is includes Mt. Meals and Drinking Water

We provide you only Bb facility in city as preferred in itinerary. Full board meals are included (breakfast, Lunch and dinner with cup of tea or coffee) throughout the trek.  We provide you food from the local tea house Mt. Lodge en route chosen from a menu. Breakfast and dinner is to be provided from the same tea house we would overnight but lunch would be en route in between. You can enjoy the Nepalese style cuisine or any other continental food as per required. You are to be giver from pizza to snacks. Most teahouses offer a variety of rice and noodle dishes, as well as soup and seasonal vegetable. A variety of cereals, bread and egg dishes are generally available for breakfast.
