Overview And Highlights

ABC Trek starting and ending at Pokhara. Travel yourself in your way to Pokhara and Join Annapurna base camp directly from Pokhara.

This 06 days short Annapurna base camp trek is designed for trekkers who want to explore the Abc but have limited time, so they cannot complete the 13/14-day trek. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is famous and loved by all beginners and experienced trekkers. Abc trek takes you to the lap of the world’s 10th-highest mountain, famous for breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. Mt. Annapurna is renowned for the sunrise and its technical difficulties due to the rocky vertical climbing and unpredictable avalanches. Annapurna is not only a trekking mountain, but it plays significance in cultural importance. Annapurna means the goddess of food, and Nepali worships it.

While trekking in Annapurna, you will see incredible landscapes and breathtaking mountain views, terraced fields, lush green forests, and waterfalls and water streams all over the trek. Annapurna is the best place to relax from the daily hustling and bustling life and skip city life. Annapurna is the destination; while reaching there, every place you visit is a destination itself, whether it is Ghandruk or MBC. Every place offers the best experience to the trekkers and makes them fall in love with its beauty.

Annapurna base camp is generally completed in 13 days, but people often finish it in 6/8 days. You will enjoy delicious foods like Gurung bread and Thakali khana. The locals here are very gentle and respect the trekkers, and they often invite them and make them feel their warm hospitality. You can see the religious difference as well. The trek is famous for its rich cultural diversity, which trekkers experience during the trek. The Annapurna conservation area is itself home to many endangered wild animals like Snow Leopard, Red panda, Himalayan musk deer, Assam Macaque (a type of monkey), Indian Pangolin (Scaly Anteater), and many more.

Best Season for Trekking In Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The best seasons for trekking in Annapurna base camp are Spring and autumn. During autumn (September to November), the weather is clear, and you will get incredible views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. During that time, Nepal’s most significant festivals, Dashain and Tihar, is celebrated, and you could also explore the local culture with locals and enjoy the festivals.

Another is Spring (March to May). During Spring, the weather becomes more pleasant, which is when flowers bloom. So, you will get to see Rhododendron forests all over the trek and different kinds of other flowers as well, which adds beauty to the trek.

You can also trek during the winter. The weather will be cold in high altitudes, and you can experience snowfall in the mountains. We don’t suggest trekking in summer or monsoon, as this time the weather will be rainy, and landslides will occur. The leeches are another problem there, and you will not get proper views of the mountains.

Be sure to plan your trek during autumn or spring; make beautiful memories amidst nature's wonders!
