Best Time to Trek Poon Hill

Autumn and spring are the ideal seasons to ascend Mount Poon, a well-known trekking destination in Nepal's Annapurna region. Apparent skies, comfortable temperatures, and breathtaking vistas of the neighboring Himalayas are available from September to November. Trekking enthusiasts could take advantage of this perfect weather and visibility to see the stunning sunrises in the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Another fantastic summer season is from March to May when tropical scenery and blooming rhododendron woods can be found. These months make for a pleasant and fulfilling trip because the trails are bordered by vibrant flora and moderate weather. Hikers can fully enjoy the Poon Hill region's natural beauty and cultural diversity by going hiking during these times.

Short Trekking to Poon Hill from Pokhara can be performed throughout the year. We do not suggest trekking in monsoon season. Mountains are not clearly visible in this season. Walking on the trials is also very difficult at this time. But if you are experienced enough to walk in hilly regions during rain, you can also choose this trek in monsoon.

Tea houses with roads typically provide food, so bring snacks to keep your energy levels up while exploring. Power banks, cameras, and electronic device headlamps or spotlights are also helpful. You have identification, all necessary permits, and a thorough hiking trail map. Trekking to the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges provides fantastic vistas. These paths enable visitors to customize their experience as they take in the varied splendor of the Annapurna region, taking into account their preferences, time, and travel abilities.
