On the second day, we woke up early in the morning and then had breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, visit Buddha Point, which is one of the highlights of Thimphu, then visit the National Library of Bhutan, which preserves the history of the country, then have lunch in the city, explore the Textile Museum, which showcases the arts and crafts of Bhutan, then visit the Bhutan Postal Museum, Jungshi Handmade Paper, and Taschichoedzong in the evening after the exploration, dinner, and overnight at the city.

After breakfast at the hotel on the second day, proceed in the direction of Punakha, passing via the scenic Dochula pass, which is surrounded by a fluttering prayer flag and has 108 chortens (stupas) at the soldier's memorial. To get to Chimi Lhakhang for the excursion, which is renowned for the temple of fertility, you will need to drive 15 minutes and walk one to one and a half hours through a village and paddy field. Visit the Punakha Dzong, which is surrounded by the Pho and Mo Chu Rivers, after spending the night in Punakha and via the nearby suspension bridge.

The day begins with an early breakfast, a 30-minute drive to Taktshang Trail Point, and a 5- to 6-hour climb to Taktshang Monasteries, also called Tiger Nest. Explore the monasteries when you first arrive, and then eat lunch at a nearby restaurant. Drive to Paro from the trail point after descending back in the afternoon. After dinner, rest in the hotel and shop for souvenirs throughout the city.
