Continue your journey to Punakha, traveling via the scenic Dochula Pass, which is adorned with 108 chortens (stupas) in memory of the soldier. When you get in Punakha, see Punakha Dzong, a well-known Phuakha landmark bordered by the Pho and Mo Chu rivers. This monastery preserves the rich culture and spirituality Bhutanese beliefs, then relax in the hotel and have a wonderful meal.

On the third day. Get up early and travel to Paro to view Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortification. Upon your hotel arrival. Check into the accommodation and spend the remainder of the time exploring Ta Dzong and Rinpung Dzong. After breakfast on the fourth day, drive for thirty minutes to the Taktshang monastery trailhead. The climb to Taktsang monasteries takes about 4 to 5 hours. The Bhutanese respect this location, where Guru Rinpoche is said to have meditated while riding a tigress. When you initially arrive, go to the Taktshang monastery. After that, eat lunch in the café next to the monastery. After dinner in Paro, return in the afternoon and remain for the night at the hotel.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Paro and drive to Thimpu

Begin your adventure from the Kathmandu International Airport. It takes around one and a half hours to fly from Kathmandu to Paro. When you arrive in Bhutan, a representative from our firm will greet you and bring you to Thimphu, the country's capital. This takes one and a half hours to reach and is 55 kilometers away. On the route, stop by Tamchog Lhakhang (Iron Bridge) and take a quick break at Chunzom, a viewpoint with a view of the Paro Valley. After that, head to Thimphu. When you arrive in Thimphu, check into your hotel and freshen up. After that, visit the Memorial Chorten, which is dedicated to Bhutan's third king, and finally visit Tashi Choedzong at night. Shop for Remembrance and explore the market. After dinner, spend the night in the motel.

Day 2

Thimpu sightseeing and drive to Punakha

Enjoy a native breakfast before heading out to see Thimpu, the capital city. We will visit sights such as the well-known Tashichho Dzong, a Buddhist monastery on the Wang Chu River. Following that, we shall visit. The National Memorial Chorten is an important spiritual and historical site in the country. We will then visit Changangkha Lhakhang, an 800-year-old temple that attracts thousands of visitors daily. After that, we'll go to the National Folk Heritage Museum, which is famed for its rural culture and traditions. Then we'll go to the Motithang Takin Preserve, which is famous for its takin, a little buffalo-like animal with a gold-brown top and a black bottom.

In addition, it is Bhutan's national animal. Then we'll visit the clock tower, which is also known as the clock market. You'll find a little market nearby. Following that, we will visit Simply Bhutan, a small museum-like facility that displays ancient Bhutanese culture and traditions. It reflects the people's lifestyle. Simply offers panoramic views of Bhutan, as explained by the guide. Following that, we will visit a few other places. In the afternoon, we'll drive to Punakha. Sightseeing in Punakha and Drive to Paro

Getting up early to have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, drive for Paro City. On the way, stop by the Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress, and then arrive in Paro. Check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, visit the Ta Dzong, Bhutan's National Museum, where you can see art, crafts, and textiles, followed by the Rinpung Dzong, a fortification with Buddha wall murals. Then stay overnight at the Paro.

Taktshang Monastery sightseeing

On the fourth day, after breakfast, you will travel to the Taktshang monastery trailhead, which is 30 minutes away. Walking to the Taktsang monastery takes approximately four to five hours. The Bhutanese revere this region because it is believed that Guru Rinpoche meditated here while riding a tigress. When you initially arrive, stop by the Taktshang monastery. Following that, have lunch at the cafeteria next to the monastery. Return in the afternoon and spend the night at the hotel following dinner in Paro.
