Get picked up from your Kathmandu hotel or residence early in the morning, then travel southward along Ring Road before turning off onto Satdobato towards Godawari Road. Depending on traffic, it takes one to one and a half hours to travel about 14 km from Kathmandu to Godawari. When you get to Godawari, pay the admission charge, check into the Botanical Garden, spend the rest of the afternoon sightseeing with your loved ones, and then travel back to Kathmandu in the evening to be dropped off at your hotel or home.
One of the most picturesque locations in the Lalitpur District in Bagmati Province is Godawari, which is well-known for its botanical garden and popular picnic area. It is renowned for its tranquil surroundings, abundant greenery, and natural beauty. Godawari is one of the protected sites in Nepal's Pulchowki Hill range. It is plentiful in biodiversity and protects various plants and animals. Numerous wild creatures, birds, and natural vegetation can be found there.
