Kalinchowk tour package is for those who wish to play in the snow during the winter while traveling a short distance and experiencing the Himalayas. It includes a visit to the sacred Kalinchowk Bhagwati temple, which is devoted to Goddess Bhagwati, a formidable figure in Hindu mythology. Another significant figure in Hindu mythology is the Goddess Durga, who takes the shape of Baghwati Mata. The temple's elevation of 3,842 meters (12,605 feet) above sea level represents the might and power of God. People travel here from all around Nepal and other nations in search of blessings for prosperity, safety, and wish fulfillment. In the fall, the temple is packed with people during Tihar, Janai Purnima, Dashain, and other festivals. In addition to being a site of worship, tourists may visit and play in the snow there. Due to its high elevation and frequent snowfall, Kalinchowk is a well-known place to play in the snow. People bring their family and friends here to play in the snow. This location is a winter wonderland and heaven because of the snowfall that occurs here.
Visitors visit here to witness the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and snow-capped summits, such as Mount Gaurisankhar (7,181 m). Here, people like having snow fights and building snowmen. It also gives visitors the chance to go hiking. People frequently hike or use cable cars from Kuri hamlet to see the temple of Baghwati. You can see the 360-degree panoramic views of Mt. Gaurishankar, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, and even Everest in the distance if you go on clear days. You may reserve a car with us and make your own hotel reservations if you're looking for a family or group excursion. The distance between Kalinchowk and Kathmandu, the capital, is 150 kilometers. Depending on traffic and road conditions, it will take around four to six hours to get to Kalinchowk. If you are fortunate, you will travel through a variety of high-altitude, mountainous, and urban environments that are incredibly beautiful and offer breathtaking views of the Himalayas. You will see the terraced farms and the native way of life of the highland people. You will pass by several well-known locations, including Charikot and Sukute Beach. If you are traveling with a small party, you can rent a car. If there are more than four persons in your group, you may also rent a Scorpio for the tour. Although it's a possibility, we don't advise using the shared bus because it will be crowded, the journey will be uncomfortable, and it will take a long time to get to your destination.
Drive from Kathmandu to Kuri village (6 hours). Overnight at Kuri village. You can choose overnight at Charikot also, Charikot is headquarter of dolakha District. We will start from Kathmandu at 7 am. Then we will reach Palanchok Bhagawati Temple at 10am. Which is popular "Durga goddess" temple located in Kavre district. After spending an hour there we will drive to charikot. If you choose to stay at Kuri village we will spend some time around charikot and again we will drive to Kuri.
Sunrise view, Hike to Kalinchowk Hill, Enjoy snow while walking, fell like you are climbing mountain. Enjoy snowy at kuri village. Return to Charikot and drive to Kathmandu. Today we will explore beautiful landscape near Kuri village. We will hike upto Kalinchowk temple. From here you can view splendorous view of Himalayan range including Gaurishankhar. Then after lunch we will drive back to Kathmandu. Or you can choose to join another destination like JIri (popular city in dolakha which used to be entry point for Everest trekking). Or you can choose Manthali route to return Kathmandu. Through this route you will get more change to explore Nepali village life.
The distance between Kalinchowk and Kathmandu is approximately 150 km, which will be a 5/7 hour drive depending upon the road conditions and traffic.
Except for the monsoon season, Kalinchwok is best visited throughout all other seasons. It depends on your objective for visiting; you may wish to play in the snow, see the mountain vistas, or simply visit the temple.
