One of Nepal's most picturesque hilltops is Dulikhel. At an elevation of 1550 meters above sea level. It is situated 30 kilometers southeast of Kathmandu. It is located in Nepal's Kavrepalanchok district and is well-known for its mountain range, which includes Mount Everest, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang. Dulikhel has served as a commercial route between Tibet and Nepal throughout history. This area is renowned for its cultural richness and is home to Brahmin, Tamang, and Newari people. Visitors and tourists can observe the Newari architecture here, which includes traditional homes, wooden windows, and doors, among other old and historical elements. This location also showcases temples and stupas, including Kali Temple, Namobuddha Stupa, and Bhagwati Temple.

Dhulikhel Tour Package - 1 N/2D Itinerary

Day 1

Early morning drive to Dhulikhel and Sightseeing

Drive to Dhulikhel in the early morning from your home or hotel in Kathmandu; the trip takes about one and a half to two hours. Stop at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, on the way. After touring Durbar Square, continue driving to Sanga, where you can see the Kailashnath Mahadev Statue, the tallest statue of Shiva in the world at 144 feet. Thereafter, at your hotel, following the drive to Dulikhel. Check into the hotel when you arrive, then take a shower. After enjoying a delicious meal at the hotel, spend time with your loved ones. After dinner, spend the night at the hotel.

Namobuddha Sightseeing, then drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, get up early and walk to the Dhulikhel viewpoint above the Himalayan range to see the breathtaking dawn. Afterward, travel back to Kathmandu after lunch, stopping to see the 144-foot-tall Kailashnath Mahadev Statue, the world's highest statue of Shiva. After that, travel to Kathmandu and go to your house or hotel.
