You will visit the Lord Shiva's temple, Pashupatinath. You must visit Pashupatinath Temple to get Moksha from the "Pashu yoni." Visiting and worshipping at Pashupatinath with devotion and purity of heart is believed to help devotees wash away Paap, liberate themselves from rebirth in lower forms (pashu yoni—animal existence), and move toward moksha (ultimate liberation).

You will drive from Pokhara to Muktinath via a beautiful route passing Kusma, Beni, Tatopani, Rupse Jharana, Marpha, Jomsom, and Kagbeni.

Permit For Raxual to Muktinath Tour

For Indian citizens, you do need to take a visa to travel in Nepal. But you need to carry a valid Indian ID card, either a passport or a voter ID card or a Rasan card. Being an Indian, you will get the same price while travelling by flight or road too. In some places, like museums, national parks, and wildlife reserves, you need to obtain a permit.

Muktinath Temple lies in the Annapurna conservation area. So, you need to get an ACAP permit to reach here. It costs NPR 1000 for Indian citizens and NPR 3000 for other citizens.

Day 1

Arrival at Raxaul Rail Station and Drive to Kathmandu

We will pick you up from the Raxaul Rail Station or the Nepal border as per your need. Then we will drive to Kathmandu via the Hetauda-Kulekhani route. This can take 5 hours to 7 hours depending upon the road condition and traffic.

Day 2

Pashupatinath Darshan Tour

Early in the morning, visit Pashupatinath Temple for Darshan; we will do the pooja here. Then we will drive to Boudhanath Stupa and stay here for a few hours.

Then we will drive to the sleeping Vishnu temple "Budanilkantha" do some pooja, and drive to Shyambunath Temple. Shyambhunath Temple is famous for monkeys and the Kathmandu viewpoint. Drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old Durbar of Nepali kings. From here, walk toward Thamel.
