Mustang is a region in northern Nepal known for its stunning natural beauty as well as cultural significance. Mustang was once a separate kingdom, and it still retains a distinct identity with its distinct traditions, architecture, and language. Mustang also has the famous "Forbidden Kingdom," which was closed to foreigners until 1992.Mustang trekking is a popular activity among adventure seekers who are looking for a unique experience that combines hiking through stunning landscapes with cultural immersion. The trek offers a chance to explore ancient caves, monasteries, and fortresses, as well as interact with local people and learn about their way of life.
The Mustang trek takes you through a variety of landscapes, from the lush valleys of the Kali Gandaki River to the arid high-altitude desert. The region also contains some of the world's highest peaks, including Mount Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.

Since, it is Annapurna region you need to carry warm and cozy clothes to make yourself warm and comfortable. It is a cold place, So the warm clothes is required for this trek. Some of the essentials equipments are T-shirt, Fleece jacket/down jacket, Socks, Short, A pair of shoes, Hiking boots, Thermal shirt, Thermal trousers, Inner gloves, Outer gloves, Woolen cap, Rubber slipper, Water proof trousers, Sleeping bag, Sun glass, Head lamp, Reusable water bottle, Water purification tablets, Hand sanitizer, First aid kit, Enough cash for trek(No ATM would be found during trek) .
On your arrival our team member will be waiting for you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Our team member will warmly welcome you and transfer you to a hotel in Kathmandu (in a private vehicle). You can relax for a while after checking into the hotel. We will meet you at our office and introduce you to your guides. The meeting will be followed by a warm welcome meal at one of Kathmandu's best traditional Nepali restaurants. Along with the meal you will get to experience ethnic dancing and cultural music of Nepal. Rest overnight.
Early morning drive through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to reach the Pokhara. You can have the chance to experience the serenity of the less traveled places in Nepal, and to have a glimpse on the quaint villages along the way. Pokhara is a scenic and leisure hub where you can sit back and enjoy yourself beside the beautiful Fewa lake. Enjoy your own time after the long ride and rest overnight at hotel.
Jomsoom is 157km away from Pokhara. It takes nearly 6 hours to reach Jomsoom. On the way to Jomsoom you can explore the greenery of Nepal. The route follows Kali Gandaki river The kali Gandaki river is also the one of the fastest flowing river of Nepal. You will get to witness the mind blowing views of different places like Ghasa, Lete, Kobang, Marpha and Jomsoom. On the way you will get to see the most beautiful Rupse waterfall. It is 300m height waterfalls and most popular place among tourists as it is on the way to Jomsoom.
Early in the morning we will drive to Muktinath temple. It is nearly 25km from Jomsoom. We can reach in 1 hour and after that you can hire a horse and can go to the temple or else you can walk the stairs and reach the temple. After reaching the temple you can go and worship Lord Vishnu. After worshipping don.t forget to take bath in 108 water spouts and 2 ponds. It is believed that taking bath in spouts and ponds it brings salvation. Enjoy the cultural and worshipping environment of devotes and vibe the nature.
Pokhara is 157km away from Jomsoom. It takes nearly 6 hours but for us it will be 9/10 hours. On the way to Pokhara we will visit the monastery situated on the way. We will visit different caves located on the way which is there from nearly more than 1000 years ago. We will stop at Rupse waterfall. You can click pictures and have fun playing in the water. After that we will visit local Dhaba for having the local Nepali meal. We will sing, dance, play games and do fun activites and come back to Pokhara.
After breakfast, we will head towards Kathmandu city. On the way we will see the local lifestyle, Marshyangdi river, Trishuli river, the local Dhaba(Highway restaurant), view of mountains along with green hill stations. Snatch the last moment to enjoy vibes of Kathmandu and grab the last chance to capture memorable moment in Nepal.
We will serve you breakfast in the morning. If your flight is planned for the morning. In accordance with your travel plans, our team member will go with you to drop you at the Airport(In a private vehicle). If your flight is in the evening, you may go for shopping and pick up some souvenirs for your loved ones, or you can just hang around the Kathmandu city. Additionally, if you wish to stay in Nepal for a few extra days, we can set up some of the best adventure activities or tour activities there.
